Meet Emma Bailey
I am a mother of 3 school aged children and have always loved working with children. I worked as a Primary School Teacher before having children and this has given me a great knowledge base of child development.
I then worked as an in-home carer while my children were pre-schoolers. I have seen first-hand the importance of sleep with my children and the ones in my care, as when all members in the family are able to get a good sleep it benefits everyone in all parts of their lives. I like finding the right approach for each child and family so that it fits with their beliefs and parenting philosophy, and I really enjoy helping families achieve their goals.
With Emma’s help we’ve been able to transform our 3 year old’s poor sleep habits a lot faster than we ever thought possible. Her techniques and gentle guidance and support meant we went from bedtimes taking up to 2 hours and middle of the night transferences to our bed, to falling asleep on his own within 15 minutes of going to bed and sleeping right through the night in his own bed, in just under 2 weeks! It’s great to know every member of the family is now getting the sleep they need every night. We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome and can’t recommend Emma highly enough!
Emma explained realistic expectations for Anika’s age and a routine for supporting her to reach this. It was so helpful having clear guidance and Emma was great at answering our many questions. She was pragmatic about unavoidable disruptions to the routine to help us tailor the plan to our needs. She was thorough in reviewing our sleep logs to give individualised advice, she also did this promptly so we were able to make adjustments and progress quickly. As well as being knowledgeable, Emma had a lovely relaxed and supportive manner and she was warm and non-judgemental.
